VoltDash (“the App”) is a personal EV dashboard for iPhone, iPad, and the web, operated by Coconut AI LLP ([email protected]). This policy explains what information the App uses when you use sample mode or connect a vehicle through the official Tesla Fleet API.

1. Information we access

With your explicit OAuth consent, VoltDash may read:

• Vehicle information (battery level, range, charge state, climate, lock state, and similar status)
• Vehicle location (if you grant the location scope)
• Basic profile identifiers needed for account linking

If you grant command scopes, the App may send actions you initiate (for example lock/unlock, climate, charge start/stop).

In free / sample mode, the App shows locally generated demo data and does not contact Tesla for vehicle telemetry.

2. How information is used

Vehicle data is used only to display status on your dashboard, remember your preferences (themes, layout), and run commands you trigger. VoltDash is intended for personal use with vehicles you are authorized to access.

3. Storage

• On iOS, preferences and session-related data may be stored locally on your device (for example UserDefaults / Keychain for tokens where applicable).
• On the web, browser session storage may keep a short-lived dashboard snapshot on your device.
• OAuth tokens are stored only as needed for your session (on device and/or on a server you run) and are not sold.
• Demo / sample mode uses fake local data and does not contact Tesla for live vehicle data.

4. Purchases and Apple

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store / StoreKit. We receive subscription status needed to unlock Pro features. Apple’s privacy policy applies to payment data handled by Apple. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

5. Third parties

Authentication and vehicle APIs are provided by Tesla, Inc. through the Fleet API. Tesla’s own privacy terms also apply to data processed on their systems. Hosting for the public site may be provided by GitHub Pages, Notion, or a similar host.
